It is the code SAM210826, entered in the referral field while you create a Binance account. It links the new account to an inviter and, in return, gives the new account a permanent discount on trading fees.
How much do I actually save?
The invitee gets 15% off spot trading fees and 5% off futures fees. On the standard taker rate that turns a $10 fee into $8.50 on spot — small on one trade, meaningful across a year.
Does the code cost me anything?
No. You pay less than an account without a code, never more. The inviter is paid out of the commission Binance already collects, not out of your fee.
Can I add the code after I registered?
Generally no. The referral link is fixed at the moment the account is created, and support does not attach one afterwards. This is the single reason to copy the code before you start.
Is this the official Binance website?
